• The great Pyramids of Giza - the Sphinx and Valley Temple
• Perfumery & Papyrus Institute (Option for camel ride and going inside small Pyramid approx $15 US)

Day 3: Cairo: (B,L)
• Egyptian Museum with the treasures of Tutankhamen
• Islamic Cairo - the Citadel, Alabaster and Sultan Hassan Mosques and Palace
• The Khan El Khalili Bazaar
• Coptic Cairo - see some of the oldest churches in Christianity
• Depart for Aswan by overnight sleeper train (Option for Hotel and Flight upgrades, prices available on request)

Day 4: Aswan: Sightseeing in Aswan (B,L,D)
• The High Dam - a modern wonder built to divert the Nile to prevent flooding
• Philae Temple
• Sail on a Felucca or Launch to visit Kitchener Botanical gardens
• Sail past the Agha Khan Mausoleum

Day 5 - Aswan - Abu Simbul: (B,L,D)
• This morning an early drive for Abu simbul to see the great temples of Ramses the 2nd.
• Later sail for Luxor

Day 6 - Nile Cruise (B,L,D)
• Relax as you sail along the fertile Nile Valley with a stop at Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

Day 7 - Luxor: Sightseeing in Luxor: (B,L)
• Valley of the Kings (3 tombs)
• Temple of Queen Hatshipsuit, the Queen who would be King
• The Colossi of Memnon
• Evening Light and sound show at the Karnak Temple
• Opportunity to stroll around the city with its quaint market places

Day 8 - Luxor - Cairo: (B,L)
• Luxor and Karnak Temples
• Transfer to Cairo by overnight sleeper train (Option for Hotel and Flight upgrades, prices available on request.)

Day 9: Cairo: (B,L)
• Sakkara - the Step Pyramid of Zoser and surrounding complex of tombs
• Memphis the ancient capital - statue of Ramses II and Alabaster Sphinx
• Visit to a carpet school
• Evening Light and Sound show at the Giza Pyramids

Day 10: Cairo: Airport transfer
